Pacific Coastal Airlines is looking for a highly skilled, motived and enthusiastic individual for role of a **permanent full time Stores Coordinator**. This position is based out of the maintenance hangar located at the South Terminal close to the Vancouver International Airport. Reporting to Director, Procurement and Supply Chain, the primary responsibility of the Stores Coordinator is to manage the inventory of parts in Vancouver and Calgary and materials flow for the Maintenance Department to ensure timely completion of all maintenance related activities and tasks. In addition, this role will be responsible for evaluation and procurement of Technical Purchases (aeronautical parts). **Duties and Responsibilities**: **_Inventory Management:_** - Manage inventory requests, inventory certification for aircraft technical parts, inventory shelf life control items, and inventory of quarantine and "out for repair" items - Conduct cyclical inventory counts while updating the maintenance system and reconciling inventory to financial records - Maintain and manage stock levels based on minimum and maximum quantities established in the system for various parts and materials - Ensure shipping/receiving of all products and components is accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner - Interact with suppliers on a day-to-day basis, review inventory on an ongoing basis, and order as required based on minimum requirements set in our inventory system - Coordinate sending aeronautical parts for repair - Assist with AOG Parts Management - Assist with coding of technical purchases **_ Purchasing:_** - Procure technical parts and inventory within the established limits, quantity, quality and pricing guidelines adhering to Pacific Coastal Airlines' Procurement Policy, purchasing processes, and spending authorization matrices - Source and research materials for best possible price and appropriate quality via liaison with vendors and suppliers - Obtain three RFQs in good faith and negotiate prices fairly, but firmly, prior to closing the purchase transaction with vendors and suppliers - Determine accurate delivery timelines to ensure timely acquisition of products and services - Liaise with vendors on resolving problems associated with product delivery delays and continue to communicate status of product delivery to appropriate departments - Stay current with market prices of various goods and services **_ Supplier Management:_** - Select Preferred vendors and suppliers based on merits of quality and price - Maintain Pacific Coastal Airlines Preferred Suppliers List and develop and maintain long-term valuable relationships with suppliers - Negotiate and propose contracts with suppliers of goods and services with long-term preferred pricing **_ Logistical and Administrative Support:_** - Coordinate shipping of parts and materials with shipping vendors such as Novex and FedEx - Coordinate pickup and delivery of parts, purchases and supplies locally - Process purchase orders, including placing orders, with vendors/suppliers - Verify orders and follow up on order progress (confirmation, transport, customs, etc.) - Work with various departments including Accounts Payable to address concerns and issues (such as order quality, quantity, price, delivery, and departmental approval process) with the order from Procure to Pay - Other duties as assigned and required **Education & Qualifications**: - Completion of post-secondary education required, or equivalent work experience. - Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management required - Undergraduate degree or technical diploma in a relate field preferred - Valid Class 5 Driver's License - Experience in aviation industry is considered an asset - Experience with inventory systems and processes an asset **Skills, Knowledge & Abilities**: - Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 platform mainly Outlook, MS-Teams, and Sharepoint - Skilled in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level - Strong Communication and excellent Negotiation skills required - Organized multi-tasker who can work independently with little direct supervision - Ability to work in a fast paced environment - Being able to work resourcefully and efficiently in a lean department **Why Pacific Coastal Airlines?** **Company Culture**: We honour our company motto of People Friendly, People First for both our employees and our passengers.
