Our Richmond Retail store Located inside Watermania is searching for an Enthusiastic, energetic and goal-oriented Store Lead to join our team. As the Store Lead you will have an overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations and performance. The Store Lead will focus on Sales Goals, providing a supportive store environment, setting standards in customer service, and coach/develop team members. Provide a store experience from merchandising to customer service. The Store Lead will report to the National Retail Manager.

This role requires someone who is self-organized, strong attention to detail, Building and mentoring a strong team, is passionate about their position, and a creative thinker to drive sales initiatives within the store.


Job responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter the shop, provide assistance and support in a friendly, hospitable, and efficient manner
- Keep up to date on product knowledge. Answer questions related to merchandise, sales, promotions, and store policies.
- Provide recommendations based on customer’s stated preferences, needs and desires
- Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests by following the vision of the store and by acting in a welcoming and approachable manner during customer interactions
- Operate a cash register and perform related tasks, including cash handling, credit card processing and opening and closing of the register when on the first or last shift of the day
- Straighten, arrange, stock and dust off merchandise, maintain shelving areas as directed by management and participate in the designing of displays
- Locate merchandise for customers, placing special orders to find desired items if necessary
- Maintain daily sales transactions and purchases
- Work with team staff to ensure proper order process and flow
- Monitor monthly sales note fluctuations and trends
- Swim meet preparation, swim meet attendance
- Attend conferences, meets and special events as needed
- Supervise staff, set schedules and coordinate hours
- Complete all reports back to head office
- Organize and participate in staff meetings
- Observe stock levels and communicate with purchaser
- Order picking
- Notify customers as soon as order is ready for pick up
- Barcode products before they are displayed in store
- Become familiar will all key aspects of TAS operation, including shipping and receiving, web sales and others as needed.

Required
- Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a strong commitment to customer service
- Ability to express oneself clearly and persuasively when making sales
- Calm, professional demeanor even when confronted by discourteous customers
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
- Be a team player
- be comfortable working alone when needed.
- have strong communication skills
- be fluent in English, other languages are an asset.
- have retail experience
- have POS/till experience
- have cash handling experience

Team Aquatic Supplies offers competitive pay, extended benefits & healthy living allowance.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 37.5 per week
