**THE ROLE**
Since its inception, Hylands Golf Club has matured into a top-quality golf facility that offers a full range of service and amenities to its 1200 members and their guests. A true jewel among Canadian Forces golf facilities, Hylands continues to host numerous regional, national and international events. As part of CFMWS, our mandate is to provide affordable golf to our local military personnel and their families.

As a Snack Bar Attendant, you provide an excellent customer experience in our military golf course. During big events to every day moments, you will build a rapport with the military community and get to experience various military traditions.

The Snack Bar Attendant will provide a variety of services such as preparing and serving beverages, preparing food and assisting in the set-up and take down of social and military functions. You will operate a Point of Sales system, and ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

An acceptable combination for education, training and experience will also be considered

Food Handling Certification, as required

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Province

Must possess a Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification

**Experience**

In food preparation and service

In preparing bank deposits and floats

In cash handling

Bilingual (English and French) Essential

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

This unionized position is open to all interested employees. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the UFCW local 175 bargaining unit for CFMWS Category I employees at CFSG Ottawa-Gatineau.
