As a local family run business we offer **in-home** care for our community's seniors residing west of Edmonton **in the Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and Parkland County region**. Our caregiving team is a special and vital part of our clients’ daily living. They are the consistent person that our client builds trust with and relies on the most to function effectively and safely while remaining in their **private homes**. WE ARE NOT A CARE FACILITY.

**What will you be doing?**
- Assisting clients with ADL, personal care, and other health care tasks
- Home support activities including meal preparation, cooking, housekeeping, laundry (including bedding), and shopping
- Assists with providing medications to clients
- Observes and reports any changes in a client’s functional and cognitive behavior to appropriate supervisor
- Finding creative and effective solutions to improve client's quality of life and wellbeing
- Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure clients receive holistic quality care

**What will you bring along?**
- Health Care Aide certificate (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- CPR/First Aid
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
- Clear vulnerable sector criminal record check
- Completing tasks with a high level of professionalism, expertise, and competency
- Excellent communication (orally and written), organizational, and team skills
- High attention to detail and thoroughness
- Ability to provide compassion, empathy, and understanding to the client
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job
- Enthusiastic attitude and energy to provide excellent care and service on behalf of the company

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
