**POSITION**:Building/HBS Operator

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Effective and timely communication.
- Adherence to ITC standards and policies.
- Organized and able to independently prioritize multiple ongoing workorders.
- Dedicated, professional team player.
- Display total customer satisfaction (fellow employees, clients, building occupants, suppliers, contractors).
- Represent ITC as a leading HVAC systems contractor.

REGULAR DUTIES
- Perform maintenance and light repairs.
- Perform routine visual inspections of premises, HVAC equipment, overhead doors, etc.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them as required
- Paint and fill gaps or crevices on walls, sidewalks etc.
- Undertake light installation or carpentry e.g. repair cabinets
- Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs.
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks e.g. shoveling snow
- Identify and report the need for major repairs.
- Clear baggage jams by re-orienting bags and re-setting local baggage handling system.
- Reset horizontal and vertical diverters.
- Reset emergency stops that are not readily apparent to airline operations employees.
- Reset misaligned electric photo-eyes and associated reflectors.
- Reset tripped limit switches on the security/fire doors.
- Reset tripped over height photo-eye limit switches.
- Reset external software overloads.
- Call Mechanical Maintenance Contractor if unable to get the system up and running.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have valid driver's license and vehicle to travel to site. Access via transit is poor.
- Mechanically inclined with basic proficiency with computers.
- Physical ability to lift at least 40lbs repeatedly.
- Completion of high school or equivalent.
- Flexible shifts, part time to start with full time hours in future.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: Up to $24.00 per hour
