**Manager of Park Operations**:
Cultus Lake Park is currently offering an exciting and challenging opportunity for an exceptional leader to assume the role of Manager of Park Operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Manager of Park Operations will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the Cultus Lake Park Public Works Supervisors, equipment operators, trades personnel, contract services, and capital project planning and execution. The Manager of Park Operations will also provide long range planning necessary to the overall park operations which includes roads, sidewalks, parks, playgrounds, and facility maintenance.
- A degree in Engineering, or a diploma in Engineering Technology, or a degree in Parks and Recreation, Land Use Park Planning or related field or equivalent combination of education;
- Minimum of five years supervisory experience, preferably in a local government setting along with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team based environment;
- Demonstrated operational, technical, procurement and administrative skills;
- Demonstrated budget administrative skills;
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in contract management;
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on lead by example approach;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgement and effectively handle conflicting priorities;
- Ability to develop strong and effective working relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders, elected officials, and members of the public.
