Outside Sales Representative

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Prospecting**:
- Identify and generate quality sales leads within the assigned sales territory, specifically in the heavy machinery industry.
- Proactively and efficiently maximize the number of productive sales calls daily.
- Effectively communicate product information and respond to inquiries with professionalism, aligning with company values.
- Follow up on quotes and inquiries to close sales orders and meet assigned sales targets.
- Respond promptly to website and telephone leads, ensuring timely engagement with potential customers.
**Account Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the heavy machinery sector, ensuring alignment with customer service standards.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers, maintaining up-to-date technical expertise in heavy machinery products and solutions.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary to maintain high satisfaction levels.
**Sales Reporting**:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Track opportunities from initial contact through to sale, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the CRM system.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an outside Account Representative, specifically in the heavy machinery industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft CRM) is an asset.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong initiative and proactive approach, coupled with exceptional follow-up skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly motivated and customer-focused with a positive attitude and a calm demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and anticipate client needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for client visits and industry events.
**Working Conditions**:
- Standard business hours with occasional work outside normal hours as required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and customer accounts effectively.

Pay: $80,524.00-$91,721.00 per year
