STgenetics® is the worldwide leader that develops technologies and supporting equipment to sort and select biological cells with specific attributes of gender or normality.

**Primary Roles and Responsibilities**

The telemarketing agent will be based at the head office in Listowel, Ontario. He/she will participate in the implementation of STGenetics’ development plan across all provinces of Canada. He/she will have to prospect and develop new customers as well as maintain business relationships in territories where there are already representatives. The prospecting work will be done in collaboration with the various managers of the territories.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in a Call/Contact Centre, telemarketing or customer service
- A strong communicator (orally and in writing) with the ability to always maintain a businesslike and professional demeanor.
- Excellent knowledge of the agricultural sector;
- Experience in sales and/or telemarketing.
- Actively work to maintain good business relationships with clients.
- Demonstrate organization, motivation and autonomy.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize.
- Be Persuasive - look for creative ways to obtain information and counter objections;
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Demonstrate professionalism and enjoy working in a team environment.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Relational, sociable and dynamic ease;
- Computer literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry)
- Ability to enter data efficiently, timely and correctly to meet deadlines
- Ability to work with limited direction and as a team player
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner
- Ability to contend with a wide variety of people on various issues
- Ability to work in a busy office with constant interruptions
