We are hiring a full-time Cook to join our team at Riverbank Social on Carleton University campus. Our Cooks at Riverbank Social are responsible for preparing high-quality food, in an open kitchen, and will require strong customer service skills.

Riverbank Social is typically open Monday-Friday/daytime hours, however some schedules may include evenings or weekends.

**About the Job**:

- Cook food following recipes for a high-volume kitchen
- Ensure adherence to recipes to meet any dietary requirements
- Take culinary lead on the floor within the location
- Ensure consistent quality, preparation, and presentation of food
- Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times
- Assist with controlling waste and spoilage
- Assist with culinary auditing, and food safety measures
- Assist with weekly inventory
- Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
- Ensure adherence to all of Aramark Policies and Procedures
- May perform other job duties as required

**About You**:

- Experience in the Culinary field
- Experience with basic food preparation and various cooking methods
- Knowledge of food, sanitization, and health and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Problem solving
- Planning and organizing skills
- Enjoy working with others in a team setting
