Luminous dental is a family owned, non-corporate clinic. and we have been serving the community for over 40 years as Dr. Gavin Chu Inc. We have recently re-branded and are expanding our team and hours of operation to serve our patients better. We have loyal long term patients and staff and a supportive environment for learning.

We are currently looking for an experienced receptionist on Saturdays only. Must have at least one year experience and be able to manage billings as the only person at the front. 2-3 Saturdays/month. Closed all long weekends.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Manage patient records and update electronic medical records
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Provide administrative support to the dental office staff
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service

**Skills**:

- Experience working in a medical or dental office setting
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling phone calls professionally
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in using dental office software, such as Tracker

As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Your attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently will contribute to the overall success of the practice. Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
