As our Systems & Database Administrator, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring our IT environment runs securely, reliably, and efficiently. You’ll manage servers, databases, and cloud platforms while strengthening our cybersecurity posture and supporting business growth.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and virtualization platforms
- Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Intune environments
- Design, implement, and manage SQL/MySQL databases (on-premises and cloud)
- Monitor performance, optimize queries, and maintain strong backup/disaster recovery processes
- Safeguard systems and data through proactive cybersecurity measures and compliance with privacy regulations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and manage incident response
- Administer user access with role-based controls and auditing
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and data teams to support digital transformation initiatives

**What you bring**:

- A degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (certifications like Azure, Security+, ITIL, CISSP are a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration and database management
- Hands-on expertise with SQL/MySQL, database performance, and security
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server
- Proven track record implementing cybersecurity tools and frameworks
- Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical challenges
- Clear communicator who can collaborate across teams and document effectively
- Organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Bonus: experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or eCommerce
