**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational activities and programs.
- Support the lead teacher in managing classroom dynamics and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized attention to children, ensuring their needs are met, especially for those with disabilities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional development.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.

**Qualifications**
- Previous classroom experience or relevant training in early childhood education is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A background in teaching or caregiving is beneficial.
- A genuine love for working with children and supporting their development.

- **A current Police Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (Within 6 months)**:

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
