Regional Support Associates (RSA), in association with Woodstock Hospital, offers a consultative outreach model of inter-disciplinary clinical and specialized services promoting a person-centered bio/psycho/social approach informed by our experience and expertise within Behaviour Consultation, Case Management, Psychology, Psychiatry, Primary Health Care, Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work and trauma informed care for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities across the Southwest Region of Ontario.
A Community Consultant is a non-regulated clinical position with RSA, offering support through behavior-based services for individuals aged 18yrs and older who have an intellectual or developmental disability. Through collaboration with others, an RSA Community Consultant will complete behaviour focused assessments, analyze and present behavioral data for the purposes of recommending person centered protocols and treatment plans, that are compliant with legislative and regulatory acts in Ontario.
The Community Consultant reports directly to a Manager of Clinical Services and receives professional support from regulated practitioners within RSA’s team, including clinicians registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, as required.
- A preferred B.A. in Psychology with special training/education in the area of applied behaviour analysis.
- Proven practical experience in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities and applied behaviour analysis.
- Practical experience in conducting behavioural assessments, devising behavioural interventions and data analysis.
- Understanding and implementation of practice standard identified by the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with expectations of program deadlines and service targets.
- The ability to succeed both independently and collaboratively with internal and external professionals as required in multi-sectoral settings.
- A valid Driver’s License, with a minimum G2 standing, and access to a reliable automobile for extensive travel throughout Southwestern Ontario.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

- Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
