Irrigation Installer

We build and renovate golf courses and are looking for experienced irrigation installers for golf course construction in the Belleville area. (Additional travel may be required.)

**Tasks**:

- Irrigation installation, new and tie-ins, and repairs for golf course.
- Assist with drainage installation, preparation for and installation of sod and seed
- Moving topsoil, gravel and sand, tree and brush removal and site preparation, all as they relate to:

- greens construction
- tee deck construction
- bunker construction
- mound complex construction
- fairway construction
- cart pathway construction
- drainage construction
- pond construction
- Other projects as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work zone at all times and return all equipment and tools daily.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with irrigation system installation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically able to complete demanding work which may include heavy lifting, bending, reaching, repetitive tasks.
- Experience operating trenchers. Operate various tools, small engine equipment and vehicles, measurement and survey equipment, hand tools, etc.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate tractors and other equipment.
- Good communication skills: able to follow direction as well as provide feedback.
- Have a positive and respectful attitude.
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract and reliable transportation.
- Safety boots and gloves are required. Workwear suitable for weather conditions.
- Landscape and/or golf course construction experience is an asset, but not required.
- Punctual, reliable, and available to work weekends and holidays if required.

Pay rate will be based upon experience. Starting at $20 - $23 / hour with opportunity for growth and advancement. Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
