**Responsibilities**:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on all makes of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, buses, and petroleum tanks.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
- Troubleshoot and repair, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire replacements.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs and meet customer expectations.
- Accurately document all work performed and maintain detailed records.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in truck & transport technology.
Schedule: Night shifts, Monday - Thursday 2:00pm - 12:00am
**Requirements**:
- **Licensed or Apprentice** Truck & Transport Mechanic.
- Proven experience as a Truck & Transport Mechanic in a heavy-duty truck repair shop.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good manual dexterity and able to perform intermittent heavy lifting.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driver’s abstract.
