Calgary, Canada GME Excavation Sewer and Water Full time

**Job Summary**

**Key Information**:

- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a pipelayer helper.
- Must be able to help install valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts.
- Must be able to help install concrete pipe, pvc pipe, MH's and CB's
- Hours: Various shifts, project dependent, 12-hour days
- Must be willing to working evenings and weekends (Various shift rotations)
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
- Health benefits and vacation pay offered.
- Assist Installing water valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts.
- Assist Installing concrete pipe, pvc pipe, MH's, and CB's.
- Communicating with the Pipelayer.
- Cut/bevel pipe to ensure proper pipe placement.
- Use surveying and grade to properly place pipe.

**Experience and Certification Requirements**:

- Must have at least 2 years of working experience in various sewer and water projects.
- Must have a strong understanding of reading grade.
- Must understanding surveying.
- Must be able to do elevation shots.
- Must be able to read and understand drawings.
- CSTS-2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, Fall Protection required.
- A reliable vehicle and driver's license to get to and from site is required.
