**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and lead engaging swimming lessons for children and/or adults at various skill levels
- Ensure the safety of all participants in and around the pool area at all times
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs and learning styles
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding performance and goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and positive learning environment

**Requirements**:

- Current and valid **Swim Instructor Certification** (e.g., Lifesaving Society, Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent)
- Current **Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching swimming lessons
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to teach all levels, including parent & tot, preschool, school-age, and adult classes
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a commitment to student success

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Lifesaving or lifeguard certification (e.g., NL)
- Experience teaching private and group lessons
- Bilingual abilities (an asset but not required)

**Job Type**: Part-time
