We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, high-performing Sales assistant. The Sales assistant will provide help to the Sales Team and will reinforce policies and operating procedures as needed. Reporting directly to the sales manager, the sales assistant will work closely with all areas of the business to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in the Sales Department.

**Responsibilities**
- Support Sales team in meeting its sales quotas on a daily basis.
- Maintain and help promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Provide daily support for sales representatives as they generate leads and close new deals
- Reporting on sales activity, productivity and forecast to senior sales management
- Assist with events; Including managing invitations, set up, ordering supplies, clean up, miscellaneous duties
- Client management; Including front door greeting, customer service (issues, samples, drawings, presentations), payment and delivery arrangement
- Collaborate with Distribution Centre Manager regarding deliveries
- Prepare packages as requested by sales reps
- Support showroom manager through phone answering, supply ordering, courier management, tidying (light cleaning & fluffing)
- Assist with wrapping items sold off the floor and help to cars when necessary
- Manage samples, pricing sheets, catalogues and fabric room; ordering when necessary
- Manage price tags
- Ad hoc duties and responsibilities.

**Requirements**:

- Friendly and personable as well as accountable, self-driven & reliable.
- Ability to work in a team setting with independent goals and responsibilities.
- Impeccable organizational, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficient on basic computer programs including Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel and power point) and an aptitude for learning new computer programs.
- Professional, strong attention-to-detail and hardworking.

**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 2 years (preferred)
