ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER REQUIRED We have been buying and selling surplus inventory for 40 years. We are 100% Canadian owned and operated.

Job brief: We are looking for an Assistant Manager to supervise day-to-day in store operations. You will be responsible for the activity of staff to be sure they are making the most efficient use of their time. Keen attention to how products are merchandised as well resolving customer issues and ensuring that shopping in our retail store is an enjoyable experience. Ultimately, we try to make shopping here both interesting and fun. This requires merchandising creativity as our inventory changes constantly.

**Responsibilities**
- Support cashiers and floor other staff in doing the best job they can
- Manage staff activity to make the best use of their time
- Supervise how products are merchandised
- Maintain a clean and organized work place for staff and customers
- Monitor stock levels and notify our purchasing manager as needed

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience in retail management or similar role
- Excellent people - negotiation skills

**Job Type**: This will be a full-time position although initially part-time during training.

**Salary**: base hourly wage plus monthly profit sharing commission

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour
