Well established St. Catharines Optometrist office looking to fill a Part Time/Full-Time postition for an Optometric Assistant. (24-36 hours)

Duties Include:

- Office administration and patient reception
- Scheduling appointments and processing referrals
- Conducting preliminary vision tests prior to the eye health examination
- Neutralization, dispense, repair, and adjust eyeglasses
- Assist the optometrist with retinal imaging and visual field examinations
- Manage effective recall systems
- Provide patients with eyewear recommendations
- Maintain proper records and ensure patient privacy
- A flexible schedule to work any hours Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm
- Computer skills
- Previous Medical setting or Optical experience preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and able to multi task

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Catharines, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
