**REPORTS TO**: IT TECHNICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

**IN A NUTSHELL**:
As a Principal IT Solutions Specialist, you’ll play an integral role to design, implement and operate Microsoft collaboration and infrastructure solutions within the studio.

You will be acting as the technical reference, mentor and point of escalation on that topic, also being involved in day to day operations.

We’re looking for someone passionate in IT, and excited to work in a fast paced changing environment.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Focus on day-to-day operations: requests, incidents, changes;
- Participate to maintenance activities based on the requirements of the team, sometimes outside regular business hours;
- Give technical assistance to Level 1 and 2 team on more complex issues;
- Work closely with the Cybersecurity team to ensure best practices are aligned, implemented, monitored and actioned;
- Lead and act as a solutions architect on design and implementation technical initiatives;
- Be the technical owner of various technical components and act as a reference within the operations group;
- Participate in provider selection process and budgets;
- Coach and act as mentor to other members of the operations team;
- Ensure that documentation is available and up to date.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent;
- 10 years of experience in Information Technology;
- 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing IT solutions;
- In depth knowledge and proven experience of Microsoft infrastructure components: Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD), DHCP, DNS, including Failover clustering features, Certification authority / PKI, IIS, Files server/ SMB Shares, MSSQL Databases;
- In depth knowledge and proven experience in MS Azure Hosting;
- Solid understanding of Microsoft IAM/MFA;
- Experience with MS Defender for Servers / Endpoints;
- Experience in selecting data to be backed up, ensuring its integrity and the capability of restoration for key systems;
- Scripting with Powershell and other tools;
- Proficiency in identifying and responding to incidents, troubleshooting and providing timely support to users;
- Experience coaching and mentoring more junior members of their team.

**EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE**:

- Experience with Linux operating systems;
- Experience with version control solutions (e.g. Gitlab and Perforce);
- Knowledge or prior experience in the video game industry;
- Experience with Atlassian productions suite (Jira, Confluence);
- Experience with virtualization (e.g. VMware vSphere).
