**Job Summary**
The Handyman will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems.

**Duties**
- Assist on setting up sewing machines for the lines. Add extension tables, boxes, electric power boxes.
- Help moving machines according to new layout.
- Set up tape in the floor to mark walking corridors and exit routes.
- Install signage, first aid and needle policy cabinets.
- Change defective light bulbs in the sewing floor.
- Help moving WIP if required. Assist the downfill room bringing bags of down from warehouse.
- Respond to production maintenance requests by supervisors, Manager in a timely manner
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Lubricate and clean machinery, equipment and tools
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of sewing equipment
- Must be able to use power tools
- Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Fire Code
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, operate proactively, work as a team and handle challenges
- Excellent decision-making abilities, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to evaluate options and generate solutions
- Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 50lbs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$36.79 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
