Flight Dispatcher

**About us**

Executive Compass Flight Institute is a brand new modern flight school at Pitt Meadows Airport. The management staff at Compass Flight combined has over 20 years of experience in flight training units around the Lower Mainland.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Ensuring all dispatch duties are conducted in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations.
- Reviewing and amending dispatch documentation and manuals as required.
- Flight dispatch (flight authorization and aircraft release).
- Flight following of aircraft
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all students and customers
- Invoicing of students and customers.
- Greet walk-in customers and answer queries
- Ensuring the front desk and lounge area is presentable.
- Ensuring all office supplies are adequately stocked.
- All other duties as assigned by Chief Flight Instructor and Operations Manager

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- A proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An analytical problem solver with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite is a must have including the use of Excel spreadsheets, including graphs, charts, and conditional formatting.

HOURS:
During the summer season, longer hours with either early morning or late night finishes. Flexibility in working hours is essential.

COMPENSATION:

- Competitive Industry pay rate

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
