**Job Profile**

Capital Construction & Hauling Ltd. is currently seeking a full time employee to join our team as a Class 3 / Air Endorsed Tandem Truck Driver.

**Position Overview**

The employee is responsible for operating an end dump tandem truck with air brakes and an automatic transmission. The position will consist of working in and around the City of Winnipeg with roadway construction contractors. General manual labour is required of this position as you will be working as a part of a crew.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Manitoba Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
- Clean drivers abstract
- Previous end dump experience preferred, hauling aggregate, mud and concrete
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Follow company operating safety policies and procedures and maintain accurate records
- Complete driver’s logbook & daily vehicle inspection (pre-trip, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, accident or incident reports
- Willingness to learn and the ability to work within a cohesive team/unit
- Must successfully complete pre-employment interview and testing
- Part of a team that will be required to move from job site to job site and complete general manual labour duties as required
- Capable of working variable shifts with extended hours
- Experience driving manual transmission not required but considered an asset
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Job Type**:

- Full-time April to November working 50 - 60 hours per week
- Part time work available during winter months

**Salary**:

- $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday with weekend availability

**Work Location**:

- On the road

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
