About the Role

We are looking for both skilled, safety-conscious Class 3 Tandem Drivers (with Air) and Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team for site prep, excavation, drainage, snow removal, etc.

If you have a solid track record of operating heavy machinery and navigating tandem trucks in varied terrain, we want to hear from you.

Positions for both Tandem drivers and Heavy Equipment operators are available.

Priority will be given to those applicants who possess both a Class 3 w/ Air license and experience operating heavy equipment.

What You'll Do

  • Driving: Safely operate Class 3 Tandem axle trucks, including hauling, dumping, moving equipment and maneuvering in tight job sites.
  • Operating: Efficiently run heavy equipment (e.g., Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, Skid-Steers) for site grading / excavation / material handling etc.
  • Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, grease equipment/basic maintenance, maintain accurate logs and report any mechanical issues immediately.
  • Safety: Adhere to all site safety protocols and provincial transportation regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in heavy construction or related fields.
  • Licensing: Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement.
  • Skills: Proven ability to operate multiple types of heavy equipment with precision.
  • Reliability: A clean driver's abstract and the ability to pass a drug screening as required by job sites.
  • Physicality: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.

Heavy equipment operators must be able to read grade stakes, set up laser and cut to grade accurately. Capable of working in tight conditions and excavating for foundations. eg. Pile caps, grade beams, weeping tile etc. Capable of loading trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
