The Pricing Department is seeking a detailed-oriented and analytically Decision Support Analyst.
Working closely with cross functional teams, the incumbent will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and to continuously improve our processes, reporting and tracking key performance indicators.
This position requires strong collaboration, communication, and programming abilities and will be a contributor in maintaining the company’s competitive position.
**What you will accomplish with us**:
- Pricing Analysis and Reporting: Using internal tools and reports, identify gaps and develop tools to assist in streamlining processes creating efficiency.
- KPI Development and Monitoring: Develop tracking systems for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to pricing, margins and costing.
- Cost and Price Increase Flow-Through Support: Work closely with Cost Analysts to optimize workflows, enabling timely and accurate execution of customer price adjustments.
- User Interface Development: Create and maintain pricing calculator and simplified user interfaces to support internal stakeholders.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with Data Management, Pricing and Costing to learn systems, identify needs and co-develop solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency enhancements for the pricing and costing functions to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
**What You Bring to Our Team**:
- University Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in business analytics, pricing strategy or financial analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, python or SQL
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Infor Sx.e, SAP) or pricing optimization software is a plus.
- A self-starter, change agent who can proactively drive continuous improvement grounded in data-driven analysis.
- Good communication skills with a the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the company.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment including analytical, administrative, and tactical execution where required.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced analytical skills with a focus on pricing, business intelligence tools or programming.
- Sound understanding of ERP systems.
- Familiarity with financial or pricing principles in a distribution environment.
