Niko's Mobile Swim School is a premier mobile swimming academy serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Since our inaugural lesson in May 2021, we've conducted over 1400 lessons for 120 swimmers of all ages. **Responsibilities**
- Travel to and from various locations and provide swimming instruction, skill evaluation, and safety supervision to participants of all ages in their own backyard pools.
- Structure classes using daily lesson plans and long-term core plans for progressive learning using the Lifesaving Society _Swim for Life®_ Program in accordance with the client's goals.
- Utilize drills, progressions, workouts, games, activities, challenges, time trials, equipment, demonstrations, physical manipulation and songs to conduct educational swimming lessons.
- Maintain class safety through suitable formations, proper scanning techniques and _Water Smart®_ education.
- Foster a positive learning environment by employing the _HIGH FIVE®_ principles of healthy child development, in program planning and delivery.
- Execute emergency procedures and administer basic life support and first aid as required.
- Support the continued development of swimmers through evaluations and progress reports.
- Create an exceptional experience for clients and cultivate long-lasting rapport.
- Participate in virtual 'Meet & Greet' sessions with new clients.

**Qualifications** | Certifications
- Lifesaving Society | Swim Instructor, Lifesaving Instructor and Emergency First Aid Instructor.
- Lifesaving Society | Standard First Aid CPR-C with Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).
- Lifesaving Society | National Lifeguard (Pool).
- Parks and Recreation Ontario | HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD).

**Qualifications** | Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of swim instruction experience.

**Qualifications** | Transportation
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to and from various locations within the area served.

**Qualifications** | Availability
- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

**Qualifications** | Skills
- Dedicated to creating confident, proficient and passionate swimmers.
- Experience in teaching swimmers of all ages and skill levels in a 1-on-1 and small group setting.
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various strokes and techniques.
- Ability to educate and motivate swimmers of different ages and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
