**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Operate the espresso machine, grinders, and other equipment with proficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist with restocking as needed.
- Adhere to food safety standards and practices at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or as a barista is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling is beneficial.
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes.
