**Responsibilities (Job Description) ：**
- Design and implement a comprehensive Spanish curriculum for students at different levels, ensuring engagement and academic growth.
- Develop well-structured lesson plans that align with BC Spanish guidelines and foster a deep understanding of Spanish language.
- Teach Spanish classes to various students from K-G12 and adults if needed, providing effective instruction and support for their educational paths.
- Regularly assess and track students' progress, providing feedback and updates to both students and supervisors.
- Conduct demo class sessions to showcase the excellence of our Spanish program and contribute to student recruitment efforts.
- Utilize standardized testing protocols for comprehensive evaluations, preparing detailed reports for pre-assessment, midterm, and final exams.
- Mark and examine students' homework, offering constructive feedback to enhance their learning outcomes.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working evenings and weekends to accommodate students' schedules. Possess the ability to commute to different class locations as needed.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential in effectively conveying complex Spanish language words to students.

**Key Competencies/Skills**:

- Curriculum Design: Develop and design a comprehensive Spanish curriculum that aligns with BC Spanish guidelines and fosters a deep understanding of students.
- Lesson Planning: Create well-structured lesson plans that cater to students' diverse learning needs, ensuring engaging and effective classroom sessions.
- Student Progress Assessment: Regularly assess and track students' progress in Spanish language, providing constructive feedback and updates to both students and supervisors.
- Homework Evaluation: Mark and examine students' homework assignments, offering guidance and support to enhance their understanding of course materials.
- Educational Support: Provide support and guidance to students in their educational paths, encouraging scientific curiosity and critical thinking.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Willingness to offer in-person teaching is strongly preferred.
- Classroom Management: Demonstrated ability to create a positive and well-managed classroom environment that encourages active student engagement and fosters a passion for Spanish language.
- Experience with Students: Enjoyment in working with students of all ages, from junior high to high school, and possess the skills to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Knowledge of BC high school curriculum: Familiarity with the AP and BC high school Spanish curriculum and experience preparing students for AP exams is highly desirable.
