Teacher on Wheels is a mobile K-12 tutoring service which fosters academic excellence and personal growth based on Montessori principles. We strive to empower today's youth to be intrinsically motivated and self-reliant, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to be life-long learners.

The position requires:

*Excellent written/oral communication skills - includes prompt response to email/text

*Commitment to ongoing professional development and openness to feedback - Mentorship Coaching is available to all tutors

*Emotional maturity, reliability, and professionalism

*Flexibility, sensitivity, and responsiveness to the needs of students, parents, and administration

*Attention to detail and ability to submit session reports in a timely manner

*Passion for teaching and mentoring students

*Expertise with BC high school Math/Science/English curricula

*Teaching/tutoring experience - minimum 1 year for each subject

*Minimum education level of Bachelor's Degree (must be completed). BC Teaching Certification and graduate degrees (Masters or PhD) are an asset.

*Ability to travel to students' homes in Vancouver or Burnaby, (vehicle an asset)

*Willingness to sign a non-compete agreement (no self-advertisement)

*Ability to commit to a weekly schedule until the end of June and in the school year

*Clean police information check - vulnerable sector
