Cabinet Maker

Progressive Cabinets and Millwork, a member of the Cherubini Group of Companies, is looking for a Night Shift Cabinet Maker to join our night shift team.

This role support the production of high-quality cabinets by operating specialized machinery, including CNC equipment and an edgebander machine, and participating in assembly tasks. Working with a small, dedicated team, this position ensures our production goals are met with precision and attention to detail.

**Job Duties**
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines according to work orders and design specifications. Ensure machine calibrations and settings are correct for each batch.
- Monitor machines during operation, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
- Perform quality checks to ensure edges are smooth and properly aligned.
- Troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Assemble cabinets according to design plans and customer specifications.
- Perform precise fitting and alignment of cabinet parts to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Work with hand and power tools to ensure secure and accurate assembly.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a cabinet manufacturing facility preferred, but not required. We're willing to train the right person.
- Excellent communication skills and a motivated attitude
- Experience working with basic hand tools (drill, tape measure, nail gun)

**This is a Night Shift position (4:00 p.m. til 2:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday). You must have reliable means of transportation to commute to our plant in Burnside, Nova Scotia for your scheduled shifts.**
