Customer Service Representative

Our company, a logistic management, distribution, and warehousing enterprise is expanding and requires the right person to join their team and contribute to the on-going success of their operation. We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Customer Service Representative.
Under the direction of the manager, efficiency and customer service will be a priority. The Customer Service Representative is accountable to facilitate the receiving and storing, moving and shipping of supplies, stock and materials, effectively managing the timely flow of order processing.
**The designated employee, among other assigned responsibilities, will perform the following principal tasks**:
- Respond to customer enquiries, providing quick turnaround;
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
- Data entry for both shipping and receiving into the Trucking Management System (TMS);
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Work closely with dispatch to ensure flawless transition of information
- Participate in meetings to improve productivity, resolve customer service issues and manage workload of team;
- Assist with training of new employees within department;
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within the team, as well as cross functionally;
- Take care of import-export and relations with customs officers
- Execute any other logistics customer service related tasks as assigned by the direct Manager.
**Qualifications**:
- **Minimum of 3 years experience of customer service** (in the logistics and warehousing industry, an asset);
- Ability to communicate well in French.
- Energetic, hard-working, great attitude, sense of urgency, team player;
- Customer service oriented;
- Strong communication, organization skills and attention to detail;
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft office and Truckmate (Asset).

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
