REQUIREMENTS:
Provide small group teaching of credit courses (1:1 or up to 1:12 in class), IN-PERSON at our High School campus in Oakville, Ontario - to High School students (DURING and/or after school hours) in these Ontario Curriculum Subjects.
- Familiarity with and experience of teaching/tutoring Ontario curriculum is a requirement.
- Assess students' learning needs and develop personalized tutoring/teaching plans according to students learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance student understanding, engagement & fill existing learning gaps.
- Monitor students progress and adjust teaching/tutoring strategies as necessary
- Communicate with admin, parents/guardians and students to provide updates on student performance and address any concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous experience working with High School students in a face-to-face or online classroom/tutorial support setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
- Proficiency in using computerized educational tools and online learning resources

We are giving preference to dedicated Tutors/Teachers who are available to join our team IN-PERSON at our Oakville campus on Bristol Circle. As an in-person, face-to-face Teacher/Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals. You will work closely with students, providing small group/ individualized instruction and support to help them succeed.
