Oxford Learning Oakville North is seeking a dynamic and motivated part-time High School Science teacher who wants to make a difference in our students' lives. Students have been disproportionately affected by this pandemic, and they need more help than ever to address the growing academic gaps that online learning has caused. This is a meaningful opportunity for prospective or certified teachers to gain experience in their chosen fields, or for those who simply have a passion for teaching. Despite your pursuits, the challenges and rewards of this profession are truly life-changing -not only for our students, but our staff.

- Available for a minimum of 2 evenings/week
- Experience in tutoring High School Science/Math
- Minimum education of 3rd/4th year university student
- Comprehensive knowledge of current Grade 9-12 math and science curriculum, including but not limited to advanced functions, calculus, data management, physics, chemistry and biology

**What will you do?**As a High School Science Teacher at Oxford Learning, you will be responsible for:

- Creating a fun and energetic learning environment on a daily basis
- Committing to a dynamic and supportive working environment
- Managing and motivating students with their learning
- Documenting and relaying any specific student concerns or needs to centre management
- Developing positive and professional relationships with your students and co-workers
- Working with our proprietary curriculum, as well as students' school materials
