SpiderSmart Learning Center of Waterloo is seeking **enthusiastic and qualified educators** to join our team as **part-time French tutors**. In this role, you’ll work with students in **small-group settings**using our **ready-to-use SpiderSmart curriculum**, or have the opportunity to **develop and enhance our in-center French program**.

We are looking for teachers who can deliver **French language instruction** to students in **Grade 1 to Grade 8 and above** in an engaging, structured, and supportive learning environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Teach small-group sessions following the SpiderSmart curriculum and methodologies
- Provide individualized feedback and guidance to help students improve their French reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
- Track student progress and communicate results effectively
- Create a positive, focused, and encouraging learning atmosphere

**Qualifications (required)**
- **Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)**, or accepted into an OCT program (starting September or earlier)
- Minimum **Bachelor’s degree**:

- At least **one year of teaching or tutoring experience**:

- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

**Preferred Qualifications (Assets)**
- Experience teaching or tutoring **French (Core, Extended, or Immersion)**:

- Experience working with children in classroom or tutoring settings
- Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles and academic levels
- Passion for language education and student development
