**POSITION**: People & Culture Coordinator - Corporate REPORTS TO: P&C Business Partner

**Structure**: Hybrid (2 days in office in Abbotsford)

We are looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our People & Culture Team Our People & Culture Coordinator will work as a liaison for the various departments of the business, addressing employee issues and coordinating day-to-day People & Culture activities.

OPPORTUNITIES
In this role, you will work under the guidance of our P&C Business Partner - Corporate to provide HR guidance to all levels of salaried staff You must be able to effectively handle difficult situations with employees using upmost emotional intelligence and sound professional judgement, while exhibiting positivity and demonstrating resourcefulness to identify and address People & Culture issues. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects with a very supportive team and grow together with the Company

EXPERIENCE
- You have 1+ years of experience working in Human Resources or related field
- You have a Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related discipline
- You have experience working in a culturally diverse work environment

NICE-TO-HAVE
- CPHR designation
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
- Recruitment experience

THINGS YOU WILL DO
- Support the P&C Business Partner with a variety of daily P&C activities, from the administrative duties and tasks to people and culture initiatives focused on driving excellent employee experience
- Provide P&C support to salaried staff, including interpreting company policies and providing guidance regarding P&C initiatives
- Champion activities related to recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, supporting the rest of the Corporate P&C team
- Manage employee files and maintain accurate employee data in Ceridian
- Participate in various programs and People & Culture project work
- Administer and coordinate company policies and training programs
- Serve as an employee advocate and partner with the P&C team to unpack challenges and implement solutions
- Participate in a variety of P&C projects aimed at improving employee morale and driving process efficiency
- Promote company culture through your daily activities and regular company programs
- Maintains good organizational structure by updating organizational charts and job descriptions for all positions
- Complete other special projects, duties, and assignments, as assigned
