**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic modelling for stormwater, riverine, and low-impact development projects using software such as PCSWMM, SWMMHYMO, and HEC-RAS
- Author engineering reports to support municipal stormwater management and infrastructure projects
- Support field data collection and digital inventory of stormwater management ponds, culverts, and other infrastructure
- Conduct GPS-based field surveys and use mobile tools for data logging
- Organize and manage geospatial and modelling datasets using cloud-based systems
- Develop digital maps and technical visuals using QGIS

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Familiarity with hydrologic/hydraulic modelling tools such as PCSWMM, EPA SWMM, HEC-HMS, or HEC-RAS
- Experience with QGIS for spatial data analysis and mapping
- Ability to conduct fieldwork in a variety of outdoor conditions
- Valid Class G driver’s license and access to a vehicle for fieldwork
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team
- Basic coding or scripting (e.g., Python, R, or Excel macros) is an asset
