Established in 2004, VTG serves Toronto and surrounding area clients with full-scale planning, installation, and maintenance of everything from home security to CCTV to 50+-zone surveillance/alarms and everything in-between. We are a fully bonded and insured company with WSIB certification.

Job description

We are looking for a great team employee that has in-depth experience in the Low Voltage industry. We install alarms, cameras, Tv Menu, Networking, and card access. You must be proficient with Alarm systems, CCTV, card access systems, and IP camera systems. We work all across Ontario, but mainly GTA.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Responsible for installing residential and commercial security products
Experience Planning and installing Alarm & Access Control, CCTV low voltage wiring.
Experience with DSC, Kantech, Honeywell, Bosch, CDVI

Running cables, Programming alarm system, testing system
Troubleshooting
Install and connect security system equipment
Communicate and work with the customer and other trades at a customer’s job site
Coordinate with fellow employees for successful and efficient completion of every job
**Requirements**:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with alarm systems.
Valid G Drivers license.
Strong communication skills, written and oral.
Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
Experience working with Honeywell and DSC alarm panels.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with security systems, networks, and low voltage electronics.
The ability to work at heights 15-35 feet
A professional positive attitude is a must.

Pay: $17.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
