As a **Workforce Insights and Analytics - Inclusion and Diversity Analyst** for AstraZeneca**, **you’ll have the exciting opportunity to use your expertise to influence the diversity and inclusion strategy of a global biopharmaceutical FTSE 100 company.

You can expect considerable visibility, as you engage with multiple partners across HR to ensure that data and analytics drive workforce decisions and planning; focus on inclusion and diversity data/analytics to ensure our data is complete, high quality, and drives analytics and decision-making.

**Main Duties and Accountabilities**
You’ll work as part of the Workforce Insights and Analytics team with a focus on Inclusion and Diversity, supporting aspects of workforce analytics through interpreting data to generate strategic insights, supporting our core processes and continuing to develop our technology. The role will ensure our global diversity data is accurate and drives strategic decision making.
- The role will provide HR analytics to support functions within HR, specifically Global Inclusion and Diversity. Helping to understand the effectiveness of processes such as hiring, retention, development and promotions.
- The role will support the development of our core analytics technologies as we look to provide insight tools for a wide range of HR users, driving standardization and automation
- Provision of data, metrics and insights to support internal processes (I&D council requirements, SET & Board reporting, Functional talent reviews, Strategic Diversity Workforce Planning)
- Partner to ensure Workday functionality is enabled and active for tracking I&D data globally (where feasible and within the legal framework of each country)
- Where feasible, work with local HR teams to categorize local country level ethnicity data to support global reporting
- Accurate completion of all externally reporting, benchmarking and surveys (DJSI, McKinsey, Bloomberg, WDI, Hampton-Alexander, Diversity Inc etc)
- Calculation, quality assurance and provision of metrics for core AZ external documents (AZ Annual Report, AZ Sustainability report)
- Accountable for modelling and ongoing tracking of global, functional and country diversity measures and scorecard metrics
- Accountable for improved reporting and insights of all I&D aspects of employee sentiment tracking (e.g. Pulse, Exit survey, etc.)
**Essential Requirements**
- An analytical problem solver with a proven track record to manipulate complex data
- Ability to interpret data and draw out insights
- Be able to present insights clearly, and in a visually compelling way
- An agile learner with strong problem-solving
- An ability to use data and analytics to support the workforce planning process
- Technical ability to utilize our tools and technologies
- Comfortable working with different teams, across both HR and the business
- Strong business acumen, articulate, able to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Supporting the wider AstraZeneca HR community as we move towards a more data-driven culture
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and a strong customer orientation
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

**Desirable for this role**
- Experience in using various data analytics tools
- Possesses knowledge of Workday systems
- Basic coding knowledge desirable e.g. SQL, Python
- Ability to quickly learn and work in a cloud-based solution
