As a Machine Operator you will perform a variety of functions involved with the production of Bale Tie and Hanger wire products in a variety of gauges. Primary duties will be the operation and occasional maintenance of light industrial wire production machinery and tying systems.

Experience with similar mechanical duties, hydraulic and pneumatic systems would be an asset. In addition to daily operation, duties include; Accepting and processing incoming stock and materials, filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The employee will be required to perform frequent heavy lifting from 20-60lbs, walk, or stand for most of the shift, and wear provided PPE. Operation of a Forklift may be required, previous forklift training is an asset, but if necessary, training will be provided.

Reporting to: Production Manager.

**Duties**:
Operation of bale tie machinery including; wrapping and removal of bundles to stack on skids for shipment. Additional Duties may include loading and unloading trucks, receiving raw materials and products, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products. Light maintenance of the machinery itself will be required, work with common tools, and possible electronic and mechanical troubleshooting. In addition, the worker will maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse.

Required Skills and Training

**Education**:
Require a secondary school diploma or equivalent to be hired. Proof of competency in driving a forklift, and mechanical aptitude.

**Experience**:
Two or more years of experience in a similar field.

Skills and Certifications:
Require attention to detail, good planning, and time management skills, and be willing to assume a variety of tasks to keep the production and warehouse functioning.

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
