The Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, preventative maintenance, documentation and smooth operation of a range of food processing machines and production lines. This includes machines like extruders, sausage/patty forming lines, thermoforming/rollstock machines, blenders and mixers.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure the proper setup of equipment and production lines
- Ensure production equipment and lines meet sanitation standards
- Ensure production equipment and lines meet safety standards
- Ensure the required resources are available for the uninterrupted operation of the production line
- Operate production equipment at the expected line speed and output products that meet quality standards
- Document maintenance checks, operating logs and spare parts lists for production equipment
- Ensure the proper tear down, sanitation and parts storage of production equipment
- Assist with production as necessary in other areas, if and when required
- Follow GMP and Hygiene standards
- Complete productivity reports
- Assist with R&D product trials
- Train production staff on the operation of production equipment

**Experience and Qualifications**

The Machine Operator should have 2 or more years of direct or equivalent experiences. Experience with operating large-scale manufacturing equipment, aptitude with the mechanics of machinery, prior exposure with manufacturing principle, knowledge of sanitation, familiarity with MRP/ERP, and working knowledge of worker safety pertaining to manufacturing is strongly advised.

Furthermore, the following traits would be beneficial:

- A willingness to learn and always keep learning.
- An ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on upholding our quality standards.
- Good communication skills and an ability to work well with others.
- An ability to work on your feet for long periods of time.
- An ability to lift up to 50lb’s would be a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
