**The impact you will have**:
We are looking for a Deal Desk Specialist to drive profitability throughout the organization. The ability to recognize opportunities and communicate those internally is a valuable skill, and one that the Sales teams you will be working with will appreciate. The organization is looking to centralize Deal Registration and ensure we maximize our discounts while still quickly getting our quotes to our customers.

**This role is hybrid with the expectation of working in the Toronto office once a month.**

**What you will do**:

- Find creative ways to increase the number of Deal Registrations coming through the Deal Desk by working directly with Solutions & Alliances, Sales and the Renewals team.
- Actively run reporting to identify missed Deal Registrations.
- Calculate and advise Sales of the protected margin associated with a Special Cost.
- Advise Sales of any incremental discounts or stacking opportunities and monitor large customer Deal Registration expiries.
- Negotiate with Suppliers or Distributors where appropriate for lower costs.
- Gather Deal Registration data from target Vendors in order to validate Deal Desk impact on profitability.
- Ensure that all Special Cost cases are captured and enter the system in a timely manner while also working to maximize profitability for the company and Sales.
- Manage the loading and accuracy of Vendor Bids, and ensure Sales is aware of their bid opportunities and usage.
- Periodically backup the Deal Desk Supervisor when they are on PTO.
- Assist with Special Projects

**What you bring to the table**:

- 2+ years of business experience with a strong preference for experience in a technology company, reseller or distributor, or experience in Sales.
- Microsoft Office expertise within Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- Salesforce or SAP experience would be a bonus.
- Demonstrated desire to serve internal customers while also driving profitability.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to identify issues, requirements and opportunities for improvement.
- Positive attitude and collaborative.
- Team oriented.
- Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma, in Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
