**Duties & Responsibilities (are not limited to)**:

- Assess child and family strengths and needs, including risk identification.
- Develops treatment plans and goals with the family addressing risk management.
- Carries out various treatment components including individual, family and group counselling with parents/caregivers and child.
- Implements SNAP therapeutic model guided by CBT framework and additional modalities as required.
- Manages high-risk and aggressive behaviour in accordance with Agency standards.
- Follows program guidelines including writing of reports and record keeping.
- Provide case management and service co-ordination as required and liaises with internal and community resources/partners (e.g. police) and acts as an advocate when needed. Participation in quality assurance, evaluation and research activities.

**Qualifications**:

- A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Health-Related Discipline with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is preferred.
- Must be registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) as a Social Worker, or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- Must be eligible and able to perform Psychotherapy as defined under the act.
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience working in a mental health setting, is required.
- Experience working with families experiencing parenting challenges and child mental health and/or behavioural issues.
- A highly developed clinical intervention skill set.
- Excellent communication, organizational, engagement and sustainability skills.
- Working knowledge of evidence informed therapy models and techniques, and the ability to work with families in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Familiarity with fundamentals of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, parent management training, and behaviour management.
- Experience with trauma and attachment interventions an asset.
- Computer literacy and effective report writing abilities.
- Enthusiasm, versatility and adaptability skills.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Advance knowledge of group dynamics is required.
