**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Resident Care Supervisors or designate, the Personal Support Worker is responsible for providing exceptional resident care and delivering services with a considering for cultural, spiritual, social and restorative needs. If selected for this role you will be asked to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check that is no more than six (6) months old and proof of being vaccinated for Covid 19.

**Qualifications, Skills & Abilities**:

- Completion of Post-Secondary education would be preferred;
- Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) as per the requirements of the Long Term Care Act and regulations;
- Minimum of (6) six months experience in a Long Term care facility will be considered an asset;
- Experience in working with seniors and/or chronic care residents in a Long Term Care Facility;
- Bilingualism will be considered an asset;
- All other duties as assigned.

**Responsibilities**:
The Personal Support Worker is responsible to follow all Glen Stor Dun Lodge and Corporate policies to ensure safe resident care, The individual will promote and participate in a team delivery of care, this position will identify and communicate resident equipment needs. The Personal Support worker will need to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
