**About CanDry Technologies**:
CanDry is a private BC-based start-up company located in Coquitlam, BC, which designs advanced, compact, and energy-efficient dehydrators for heat-sensitive materials. CanDry has a novel technique to achieve higher product quality while consuming less energy and time with a much more compact design than the existing drying machines available.
We built our pilot-scale testing machine and are testing it for multiple partners’ products. We have recently started designing and building our first commercial-scale system. We are very excited about testing our technology for further clients in order to sell our dehydrators.
**About the role**:
As an Assembly and Warehouse Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and logístical processes of our company. You will be responsible for assembling components, wiring systems, and preparing the warehouse for efficient operations. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
**Key responsibilities**:
**Assembly**:
- **Component Assembly**: Assemble various components and parts according to provided instructions and technical drawings.
- **Product Assembly**: Follow assembly procedures to build and test final products, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the assembly process, collaborating with team members to find effective solutions.
**Wiring**:
- **Electrical Wiring**: Wire components and systems according to electrical diagrams and specifications.
- **Testing**: Conduct testing procedures to ensure the proper functioning of wired systems and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain high standards of quality in wiring processes to ensure the reliability and safety of products.
**Warehouse Preparation**:
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in managing inventory levels by organizing and maintaining stock in the warehouse.
- **Packing and Shipping**: Prepare products for shipment, including packing, labeling, and coordinating with the shipping department.
- **Workspace Organization**: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment for optimal efficiency and safety.
- **Parts Purchasing**: Collaborate with the procurement team to identify and order necessary components and materials for assembly, ensuring timely availability.
**Collaboration**:
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, including engineers, assemblers, and warehouse staff, to achieve production goals and resolve challenges.
- **Communication**: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience in assembly, wiring, or warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
