**POSITION VACANCY**: Speech Language Pathology - Outpatient Rehab, Freeport Campus
**POSITION**: Full time Communications Disorder Assistant
**HOURS OF WORK**: 7.5 hour shifts Monday to Friday - Days
**Summary**:
Working within an interdisciplinary team, the Communications Disorder Assistant (CDA) will serve adult patients primarily in the area of outpatient rehabilitation. The CDA will conduct speech language screenings, deliver direct treatment and remediation programs to clients selected by the supervising SLP as well as document progress toward meeting the established objectives stated in the treatment/remediation plan. Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.'
**Qualifications**:
- Successful completion of the Communicative Disorders Assistant Program
- Experience working in a hospital setting is an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
