This includes planning and monitoring program budgets, marketing and promotions, scheduling, risk mitigation, program evaluation and reporting, and supervising seasonal staff. New camp and program development, including formal and informal needs assessment, is also required. This is an on-campus, in-person position. This position is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week. **Responsibilities**: **Administration** - Reserve space both on - and off-campus to ensure MRU Camps has the required space to meet program delivery outcomes. - Work with internal administrative support services as required to ensure effective and efficient program, and activity support. - Assist in database rollover and input appropriate camp fee structure for individual camp sessions. - Assist in developing a revenue generating budget and appropriate camp fee structure for programs in consultations with the Youth Programming Manager. - Assist in departmental records management. **Program Design and Development** - Assess the feasibility and community need for new camp offerings through market research in conjunction with the Youth Programming Manager, Director of Business and Retail Services, Marketing and Communications, and advisory committees where applicable. - Source 3rd party partners both internally and externally and make recommendations to help support program delivery. - Support the creation of detailed lesson plans to ensure desired outcomes are met. - Assess all course offerings on an annual basis as directed by the Youth Programming Manager to determine if outcomes were met, and make recommendations if the program should be offered in future years. **Staff Supervision and Coordination** - Support the Youth Programming Manager on recruiting, interviewing, selecting, training, and assessing seasonal staff. - Supervise and verify seasonal contract preparation and hiring and payroll packages. - Observe and evaluate seasonal staff, summarize information, and provide feedback to the Youth Programming Manager. - Regularly monitor all programs to ensure curriculum is being delivered as intended. **Program Evaluation and Reporting** - Facilitate and conduct program audits and evaluations as directed. - Verify staff prerequisites for program implementation in academic and specialty programs. - Maintain accurate camp Information and statistics as required for partner agencies, sponsors, and associations. - Ensure camp materials are duplicated and distributed and that copyright laws are followed. - Compile information pertaining to children and youth programs via surveys and external market research as directed. - Write internal control reports and attest what the program team delivered, key learnings, challenges, and highlight improvements and make recommendations needed for future programming. - Assess program performance and provide an evaluation of the program in terms of quality of work. - Arrange for external review of programs when necessary. **Risk Mitigation** - Perform risk assessments when necessary. - Conduct program audits during peak seasons to assess areas to strengthen program and mitigate risks. - Review and revise training modules pertaining to risk and health & safety on an ongoing basis and make recommendations for improvements. - Reevaluate the existing program plan effectiveness in identifying risk and make recommendations on mitigating risks as needed. - Report on program/department information to team members on a
