**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement personalized educational plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement.
- Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to guide students in their academic pursuits.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize learning outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for students on effective study habits and learning techniques.
- Promote a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
- Parent coaching.
- Neurodivergent and Learning Disorder evidence-based approaches.
- Independent and thorough in note taking and client services.
- Provide own phone and laptop for services.
- Provide own resources and care for company resources provided.
- Flexible hours to offer times that best support children/youth, which will require some evening or weekend hours. The schedule can be negotiable and flexible to some extent to work with another job or lifestyle.
- Stay updated on educational best practices and incorporate innovative techniques into coaching sessions.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum a teaching certificate or a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in an educational role or tutoring experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students of various ages and backgrounds and learning needs.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire students towards academic success.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- A commitment to continuous professional development in the field of education.
- Strong creative and playful skills to make learning individualized and multisensory based.
- Commitment for long-term in a part-time or occasional role with options for employment or contractor.

Pay will depend on experience, abilities, and commitment to the company with a contracting role initially with a 3-month probation period and opportunities for employment, raise, or increased hours for those who are amazing and dedicated to fit the goals and mission of the company.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 8 per week
