BioNorth Solutions Inc. specializes in the development and production of bacteria and “packaged microbes”. Our proprietary microbes provide hydrocarbon soil remediation and plant growth enhancement solutions. As we enter into the next stage of growth, we are seeking a **MANUFACTURING ASSISTANT **to join our team.

Note: This is a funded position and applicants must meet the funding agency's requirements.

**About the Position**

The manufacturing assistant will perform various tasks, including maintaining and operating small machinery. You will also perform basic maintenance on machinery and notify supervisors of any malfunctions or risks.

The successful applicant will package products by SKU and maintain lists of inventory. The production worker will also keep the facility clean and organized. This position demands stamina and good physical condition, as you’ll have to regularly lift heavy loads.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate production equipment
- Maintain the warehouse’s machines
- Assemble product accurately and maintain quality
- Store products and materials
- Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift
- Report on defective products or machinery
- Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials
- Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards
- Ensure shipping procedures are timely
- Follow the company’s safety and quality guidelines

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous experience as a production worker or similar role is an asset
- Drivers license and vehicle
- Ability to detect potential problems with machinery
- Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided)
- Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually
- Good communication and teamwork skills

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
