**Job Overview** **Qualifications** - Documentation in accordance with the MOE licensing requirements - An understanding of the issues that affect children and their families - Excellent interpersonal skills with parents, community members - Mature and responsible attitude towards work - Willingness to work flexible hours **Responsibilities** - Develop and implement developmentally-appropriate programming that aligns with "How Does Learning Happen". - Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. - Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their progress. - Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community. - Support children with special needs or disabilities, adapting teaching methods as necessary. - Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a conducive learning environment. - Collaborate with other educators to enhance programming delivery and share best practices. **Skills** - Strong experience in classroom management and early childhood education principles. - Ability to effectively educate and communicate with young children and their families. - Experience working with children of varying abilities, including those with special education needs. - Knowledge of child development theories and practices related to early childhood education. - Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. **Job Types**: Casual, Seasonal Pay: From $17.20 per hour Schedule: - Day shift **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) Work Location: In person
